I have over 10 years experience as a qualified Teacher and 3 years as a Head Teacher in an Independent Special Needs Secondary School, leading the school through a “Good” Ofsted inspection.

I am a mother of three, having personal experience of living with a child who was diagnosed with ASD and much later dyslexia became apparent.

Working with young people with a range of diagnoses including ASC, ADHD, SEMH, DYSLEXIA etc. ensuring section F of EHCPs are fully achieved.

I have a background in Science and Earth Science, with BSc Science and MSc Earth Science. I have QTLS, have an Enhanced DBS and DSL (Designated Safeguarding Lead) trained as safeguarding is of paramount importance.

My experience and expertise both personal and professional have led me to this point. It is important to ensure all learning is tailored to individual learning styles and needs, ensuring any gaps in knowledge / skills are prioritised.
